Observation of a large panorama of Mt. Ohira in Hofu City

It is an observatory of Mt. Ohira in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
You can overlook the wonderful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
However, the observatory cannot go up to the 2nd and 3rd floors due to aging.

There used to be a ropeway, but now it has been discontinued.
From the top of the ropeway, you can see a beautiful view of the city.

In addition, countless azaleas are planted towards the summit, and the azaleas bloom in spring. Also, from the top of the mountain, you can see a large panorama of Hofu city from the Seto Inland Sea.

There is a parking lot near the summit, and it is a flat road that takes about 5 minutes on foot.
