It is a historic shrine located in Yokacho, Yabu city on the slopes of Mt. Myoken. The three-storied pagoda is said to have been relocated from Izumo Taisha in 1665 as a token of gratitude for having provided Izumo Taisha with a huge sacred Myoken cedar tree as the material for the main shrine.
The three-storied pagoda, main hall, and front shrine are designated as important cultural properties.

The three-storied pagoda was damaged by heavy snow and was repaired in 1987. Vermilion color is beautiful. The main hall has many elaborate carvings.
