Takaoyama Jingoji Temple

This is a temple that was founded in 824 and is the main temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect.
Jingoji is a temple founded by Wake Kiyomaro in the early Heian period. After that, Saicho and Kukai practiced here, and it flourished as the fundamental dojo of the Shingon sect in Japan.

Jingoji Temple is home to many temple treasures from the early Heian period to the early Kamakura period, including the national treasure Yakushi Nyorai statue. There is also a scenic spot called Kinunkei within the temple grounds, which is visited by many tourists.

There are many national treasures, including the wooden statue of Yakushi Nyorai.

There is no parking lot, so please use a private parking lot.
