Ueda Castle was built by Sanada Masayuki, the father of Sanada Nobushige (Yukimura).

NHK Taiga drama "Sanada Maru" also attracted attention.

The Ueda City Museum and the Ueda Castle Turret Museum are also well-equipped with facilities where you can come into contact with history and culture.
