Nishina Shinmei Shrine is famous for its three national treasure buildings, the main shrine, the middle gate, and the Tsuriya, which still exist as they were built in the early Edo period. Additionally, the roof of the main shrine uses a traditional Japanese roofing technique known as cypress bark, which is highly praised for its beauty.

For over 1,000 years, Sengu (construction in Shikinen) has been carried out once every 20 years.
