This is a shrine located in Miyazaki City that enshrines Japan's first emperor, Emperor Jimmu.

Emperor Jimmu is the first emperor who appears in Japanese mythology. He descended from Tachibana Moroe in Hyuga to Takachihomine in Hyuga, conquered the east, subdued Japan, and ascended the throne as the first emperor.

Miyazaki Jingu Shrine has been worshiped by many people since ancient times as a shrine dedicated to Emperor Jimmu.
