Mukabaki Falls, located in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, is a waterfall that has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls.
This famous waterfall has a height of 77m and a width of 20m.

This waterfall is located halfway up Mt. Gyohei, and 76.7m of water cascades down a monolithic cliff. There is an abundant amount of water, and the water spray flies into the basin of the waterfall, creating a magical atmosphere.

The name of Gyono Falls comes from Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, who saw this waterfall during the expedition to Kumaso, and wrote, ``If you shoot Yahazu Falls in Nunobiki, you will fall and flow up the river.'' It is said that
