Katsuichi's greatest attraction is its purely hand-made udon noodles, which are also the name of the restaurant. The noodles have just the right amount of firmness and a wheaty flavor, attracting many udon lovers. The gentle yet richly flavorful Kansai-style broth goes perfectly with the noodles. In addition to classics such as kake udon and meat udon, you can enjoy a wide variety of freshly fried tempura in any combination you like.

Opening hours are from around 11:00 until the noodles run out, and the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays (and sometimes on other days). There is parking for about six cars, but it may be full due to its popularity. Reservations are not accepted. When you arrive at the restaurant, you first take a tray, choose your favorite tempura, and then order and pay for your udon. It is a self-service style.
