Hiraoka Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine in Kawachi Province, located at the foot of Mt. Ikoma in Higashiosaka City.
Hiraoka Shrine is believed to have already existed in the Nara period, and since the end of the Heian period, it has been revered as the first shrine of Kawachi Province. Many emperors and members of the imperial family visit the shrine, and it is recorded that Minamoto no Yoritomo visited during the Kamakura period and Ashikaga Takauji visited during the Muromachi period.
