The impressive healing scenery is often used as a filming location for movies and television.

There is a shooting point called "Shimonada Station bird's-eye view shooting place" in a place a little away on the west side. It is also a sunset spot, so if you have the time, please do.

There is no clear parking lot, but you can park your car behind the station or along the road (be careful of the neighborhood).

On April 1, 2017, the mobile sales van "Shimonada Coffee" opened behind the station. Open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. It is unclear how long it will remain open.
