Aso Shrine is a Shinto shrine of Higo Province Ichinomiya located in Aso City. The tower gate is 18 meters high and is one of Japan's three major tower gates, and is designated as a national important cultural property.

Since ancient times, Aso Shrine has been worshiped as the number one shrine in Higo Province, fused with the volcanic religion that deifies the crater of Mt. Aso.

Located at the foot of Mt. Aso, in an environment rich in nature. The shrine building is built against the backdrop of the majestic view of Mt. Aso, allowing you to enjoy the magnificent scenery.
