Zuiryuji is a Soto sect temple in Takaoka City whose Buddhist hall, main hall, and main gate are national treasures. It was founded in 1614.
Zuiryu-ji Temple is an early Edo period architecture that faithfully conveys the style of Zen Buddhism, which came to Japan from China.

The Sanmon is a three-story tower gate made entirely of zelkova, and is approximately 30m high and 16m wide. It is said to be modeled after China's Yueyang Tower.

The main hall of the Buddhist temple is made entirely of zelkova, and is approximately 25m high and 14m wide. The main image of Shaka Nyorai is said to have been created during the Kamakura period.

The hall is an auditorium made entirely of zelkova, and is approximately 20m high and 12m wide. Yasunobu Kano's ``Flowers and Plants of the Four Seasons'' is painted on the ceiling.
